SHOTS FROM THE POINT 08-09

TAKE A BOW: Goalie Josh Tordjman was named AHL Player of the Week for his performances last week. Josh went 3-0 between the pipes and recorded two shutout wins. Against Syracuse, Tordjman saved all 27 shots in a 3-0 win. He led San Antonio to two wins over the Western Conference leading Manitoba Moose, 4-3 and 1-0.

SUDDEN IMPACT: The Rampage acquired forward Joakim Lindstrom from Anaheim (NHL) last week. After playing in Iowa (AHL), Lindstrom's acquisition infused 21 points in the Rampage lineup. In his first two games with San Antonio, Joakim added two more with a goal and an assist.

WELCOME BACK: Last week San Antonio saw the return of two impact players. Both Joel Perrault and David Spina returned from injuries and contributed immediately. Perrault, making his 08-09 debut recorded three assists in two games. Spina, returning from a 17-game absence, continued his point streak with a goal and assist in two contests.

ROOKIE RAMPAGE: AHL rookies Chad Kolarik, Brett MacLean and David Schlemko continue to produce on the Rampage line. Kolarik recorded a teamhigh five game point streak. Schlemko scored two goals including a power play and game winner against Manitoba Friday. MacLean followed that with the only goal in the Sunday rematch with the Moose.
