Ryan Potulny extended his scoring streak to four games with an assist on December 7 at Providence. Potulny has three goals and three assists for six points in his last four games and he was the game's first star on December 5 against Portland and again the first star on December 6 against Manchester with two goals. Potulny leads the Falcons in goals with 13 and points with 22.

Bryan Lerg also extended his scoring streak to four games with his sixth goal of the season on December 7 at Providence. Lerg has scored a goal in three of his last four games and overall has three goals and two assists for five points in his last four games.

Viacheslav Trukhno has recorded at least a point in three of his last four games posting one goal and four assists in that span. Trukhno was the game's third star on December 6 against Manchester with one goal and one assist.

Goaltender Devan Dubnyk continues to lead the AHL in games played (23), minutes played (1,332), saves (626), and is second in wins with 11.

Fellow netminder Glenn Fisher stopped all 17 shots he faced in 20 minutes of action on December 7 in a relief effort at Providence.

Defenseman Mathieu Roy played in his 200th career AHL game on Sunday, December 7 at Providence. Roy was the game's second star on December 6 with a pair of assists against Manchester.
