Lepisto assigned to Hershey

HERSHEY - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the Washington Capitals that defenseman Sami Lepisto has been assigned by the NHL club. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Lepisto, 24, skated in seven games for Washington after being recalled from HERSHEY on November 26. He recorded four assists during his time with the Capitals. With the BEARS this season, Lepisto has 14 points in 20 games, including three goals.
The BEARS are in San Antonio to face the Rampage Thursday night at AT&T Center, the first-ever meeting between the two clubs. Face-off is at 8:00 p.m.
