DES MOINES, IA (Dec. 12, 2014) - The San Antonio Rampage (15-8-2-0) blanked the Iowa Wild (7-16-1-1) 3-0 in front of 6,521 at Wells Fargo Arena Friday, ending a two-game losing streak for the Silver and Black. The Rampage improve to 12-1-1-0 against West Division opponents and are tied for first in the Division with Oklahoma City.
San Antonio scored a goal in each period, starting off with a tally at 11:29 of the opening frame, as Mark Mancari's shot from behind the net was tipped in by Connor Brickley for his eighth marker of the season.
Mackenzie Weegar put the Rampage up by two with a one-timer from the blue line to close out the second period scoring.
Bobby Butler, with a steal off the stick of Matthew Dumba, gave the Rampage their third and final goal of the night in the last stanza and ultimately the 3-0 win. Dan Ellis recorded his second shutout of the season, stopping all 20 of Iowa's shots.
KEY STAT
