Coyotes Recall Bolduc, Assign Martinook to Portland

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Alex Bolduc and assigned forward Jordan Martinook to the Portland Pirates, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 29-year-old Bolduc has registered 9-11-20 and 38 penalty minutes (PIM) in 24 games with the Pirates this season. He ranks first on the team in goals and points. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound native of Montreal, Quebec has recorded 2-3-5 and 42 PIM in 62 career NHL games. He was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round (127th overall) in the 2003 Entry Draft.

The 22-year-old Martinook has appeared in two games with the Coyotes this season. He skated in 11:56 in his NHL debut against the Boston Bruins on Dec. 6. The 6-foot, 202-pound native of Brandon, Manitoba has also registered 4-9-13 and eight PIM in 21 games with Portland this season. Martinook was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (58th overall) in the 2012 Entry Draft.
