Marlies Complete Comeback Win 4-3 over Utica

The Marlies completed an impressive comeback Friday night to earn a 4-3 overtime victory in Utica. Goals from Andrew MacWilliam, Byron Froese, Ryan Rupert along with the overtime winner from Sam Carrick provided the offence. Antoine Bibeau made 46 stops in the victory, including two clear breakaway stops to keep Toronto in the game; the effort earned him the third star. A few notable firsts for the game:

* Andrew MacWilliam's goal was the first of his pro career

* Carson McMillan's assist was his first as a Marlie

* Byron Froese recorded his first goal as a Marlie in his first game

* Sam Carrick's game winner was his first goal of the year

Toronto returns home Saturday and Sunday for games against the St. John's Ice Caps. Both games are at 3:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at marlies.ca/tickets or by calling 416-597-PUCK (7825).
