Rampage Recall Nick Ross from Las Vegas

SAN ANTONIO (March 4, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving today announced that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled defenseman Nick Ross from their ECHL affiliate, the Las Vegas Wranglers. Ross, 22, has skated in 17 games with the Rampage this season posting five assists and a plus-6 rating. The 6-foot-1, 194-pound defenseman played in 47 games with the Rampage last season posting two assists and 19 penalty minutes.

The Edmonton, Alberta native has tallied two goals and nine assists in 21 games with the Wranglers this season. He was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the first round (30th overall) in the 2007 NHL Draft.

The Rampage travel to Austin tonight for a matchup against in-state rival Texas Stars at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center. Log on to sarampage.com for full game coverage.
