San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO (February 16, 2009) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that they have re-assigned center Adam Perry to the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League (CHL) and have released center Oren Eizenman from his professional try-out (PTO).
Perry, 22, recorded one goal, the game-winning goal Feb. 8 at Rochester, and played in three games with the Rampage since being recalled from Arizona on Feb. 2. He rejoins the Sundogs ranked second on the team in points with 45 (18 goals, 27 assists) through 31 games.
He was named the Oakley/CHL Player of the Week Feb. 2 after tallying eight points (5 goals, 3 assists), including his first professional hat trick (Jan. 28), and was plus-4 in three games the week prior to his call up.
Perry, a native of Peterborough, Ontario, began the 2008-09 season with the Rampage playing in eight games and collecting an assist.
Eizenman, a native of Toronto, Ontario, signed a PTO Dec. 11 and played that night against Hershey before suffering an injury that scratched him for the past 30 games. This was Eizenman's second stint with the Rampage this season in which he collected two assists in four games Nov. 25-29.
