SAN ANTONIO - Layne Ulmer extended his point streak to four games scoring the lone goal for the San Antonio Rampage preventing Brian Finley's shutout bid as the Milwaukee Admirals handed the Rampage their seventh consecutive home loss-and third straight loss-with a 3-1 decision Wednesday night at the SBC Center.

Rampage goaltender Karl Goehring faced a season-high 50 shots in his second game in a Rampage uniform since being acquired on Nov. 18.

Milwaukee's center Simon Gamache put up the first tally of the game in the opening period at the 11:01 mark, his first of the season.

Ulmer eclipsed left wing Steve Gainey for the Rampage lead in scoring when he shot his seventh goal of the season at the 9:28 mark in the closing period. Tim Jackman collected his fourth assist of the season and Goehring's first helping Ulmer collect his fifth point (2-3-5) in the last four games.

Rich Peverley was credited with the game winning goal to put the Admirals up 2-1 in the third period as Greg Classen assured the win for the Nashville Predators' AHL affiliate with a last minute goal with just 55 seconds remaining in the game. The win gives Milwaukee their ninth win in their last 10 games.

After the Thanksgiving holiday, the Rampage (5-14-0-1) will close the series against Milwaukee (9-4-0-1) on Saturday at the SBC Center at 7 p.m.
