The Hamilton Bulldogs (7-11-0-1) look to snap a four-game losing streak as they wrap up a five-game road trip tonight when they face the Chicago Wolves (5-6-1-2). Hamilton is in a tie for sixth place in the North Division with the Cleveland Barons (7-9-1-0), while Chicago sits fifth in the West Division with 13 points.

The Wolves won the season series in 2004-05, posting a record of 3-1-0-0. Hamilton will face Chicago for the second and final time this season on Friday, March 31 at Copps Coliseum (7:30 p.m.).

BULLDOGS NOTES

C Francis Lemieux's power play goal at 15:57 of the second period in the Bulldogs 3-1 loss at Omaha last night was the team's first goal in 145 minutes, 32 seconds. The marker, which was Lemieux's first professional power play goal, snapped the Bulldogs 0 for 27 drought with the man-advantage, a span of 299 minutes, 25 seconds.

The Bulldogs allowed a season-low 18 shots on goal last night, including only three in the third period.

With his assist on Lemieux's goal, C Corey Locke (6g-8a-14pts) is now tied for the team scoring lead with LW Jean-Francois Jacques (8g-6a-14pts).

Canadiens RW Michael Ryder had one goal and one assist last night in Montreal's 3-2 shootout win over the Atlanta Thrashers.

LW Pierre Dagenais scored the only goal of the shootout, while C Mike Ribeiro added an assist for Montreal.

BULLDOGS HOST CLEVELAND ON FRIDAY

The Bulldogs next action will take place on Friday, November 25, when the Cleveland Barons visit Copps Coliseum for the third time this season. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
