Preview: Americans Look to Bounce Back from OT Loss

The Tri-City Americans will take on the Victoria Royals tonight at the Toyota Center. They will look to bounce back after a tough overtime loss to the Vancouver Giants last night.

Tri-City and Victoria will meet tonight for the third time in their four-game season series. They have already played twice in Victoria this season, the Royals won both games by one, including a shootout victory.

Jake Sloan leads scoring against Victoria with a pair of goals and three assists.

The Royals are on a two-game winning streak after defeating Kelowna earlier this week and Spokane last night. The Americans are looking to get back in the win column after last night's overtime loss, which ended an eight-game winning streak at the Toyota Center.

Jackson Smith, the second-overall pick in the 2022 WHL Prospect Draft, made his debut with the Americans last night.
