Portland Winterhawks News Release
Winnipeg, Man. - The Portland Winterhawks today announced that defenseman Marek Alscher has returned to the club in Winnipeg, Man. and is eligible to begin playing immediately.
Alscher spent the last three weeks skating with Czechia's Under-20 National Team at the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship in Halifax, N.S. and Moncton, N.B.
The second-year Winterhawk was named to Czechia's reserve list ahead of ahead of his country's first tournament game on December 26, making him eligible to play if someone on the 23-man roster got injured.
