Pittsburgh Recalls Bissonnette

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Pittsburg Penguins have recalled right wing Paul Bissonnette from the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins. It was announced on Tuesday by Executive Vice President and General Manager, Ray Shero.

Bissonnette, 23, has appeared in 22 games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, recording three goals and three assists for six points and 103 penalty minutes.

Bissonnette started the season with Pittsburgh, and made his NHL debut against Ottawa on October 4th at Stockholm. He has appeared in eight games during two stints with the NHL Penguins, going scoreless with 10 penalty minutes.

The native of Welland, Ontario has played 126 games in the AHL for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, recording twenty points (7+13) with 314 penalty minutes.
