NORFOLK, VA - After passing the halfway point of the regular season with a victory in their fortieth game, the Admirals will continue a nine-game homestand with contests against Worcester on Friday and Saturday at Scope.

On Wednesday night, goals by Brandon Bochenski and Justin Keller gave the Admirals a 2-1 lead in the third period. However, the Hershey Bears scored twice in the game's final ten minutes to hand Norfolk a 3-2 setback at Scope. On Friday night, Admirals captain Zenon Konopka set the tone for the game with a goal only eight seconds after the opening faceoff and added another tally as the Admirals topped the Manchester Monarchs 4-3 at Scope. In the Saturday rematch, All-Star Steve Downie erased a two-goal deficit with a pair of second period markers and Bracken Kearns netted the third-period game-winning goal for the second time in as many nights as the Admirals defeated the Monarchs 4-2.

The Admirals will host the Worcester Sharks on Friday and Saturday nights at Scope. Both games begin at 7:15 p.m. Friday night is All Faith Night and Saturday night is Pink in the Rink Night.
