Defenseman John Scott reassigned to Houston Aeros

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild President and General Manager Doug Risebrough today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned defenseman John Scott to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Scott, 26 (9/26/82), was recalled by the Wild on Jan. 3 and made his NHL debut that night against the Detroit Red Wings. The 6-foot-8, 258-pound native of St. Catharines, Ontario averaged 8:47 in ice time and was whistled for one penalty in five games with Minnesota.

Scott has recorded two goals in 26 games along with 82 penalty minutes with the Aeros this season. He has totaled 155 games with Houston and has tallied six goals and five assists since he joined the club for the 2006-07 season.
