Over $20,000 In Prizes To Be Given Away On Bulldogs' Fan Appreciation Night

HAMILTON, ONTARIO - The Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club announced today that over $20,000 in prizes will be given away on Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, April 19th, when the Bulldogs will take on the Syracuse Crunch (American Hockey League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning) at FirstOntario Centre at 7:00 p.m. in their final game of the 2013-2014 season.
Amongst the great prizes to be handed out at the game will be a trip for two to Montreal courtesy of Peter Mielzynski Agencies Ltd., an Apple iPad courtesy of Best Buy Limeridge, lots of Bulldogs merchandise and autographed memorabilia as well as thousands of dollars' worth of other giveaways courtesy of Buffalo Wild Wings, Canadian Tire (The Centre on Barton), Cogeco, Compass Group, FirstOntario Credit Union, Global Spectrum, Golf Town, The Home Depot, Lindt, Maple Lodge Farms, OLG, Pepsi, Pizza Pizza, Splitsville Entertainment, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Tim Hortons, Telus and Yuk Yuk's.
In addition to the prize giveaways, the hockey club will also hand out its 2013-2014 team awards before the game, including The Hamilton Spectator Most Valuable Player Award, Molson Cup Award, Tim Hortons Top Defenceman Award, Dan Lawrie Insurance Premium Player of the Year Award, FirstOntario Credit Union Community Leadership Award, PMA Top Rookie Award, Andlauer Transportation Services Leading Scorer Award and The Bill Sturrup Trophy Fan Favourite Award (as selected by 'The Growl' Booster Club).
Following the game, winners of the Jerseys Off Our Backs raffle will receive that evening's game-worn jerseys straight off the backs of the Bulldogs players on the ice. The raffle draw will take place live at the Bulldogs Foundation booth on the upper concourse during the game's second intermission.
Hamilton's next game is scheduled for tonight, Tuesday, April 15th when the 'Dogs will visit the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) at Quicken Loans Arena at 7:00 p.m. The Bulldogs will return to FirstOntario Centre on Saturday, April 19th, when they will host the Syracuse Crunch (AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning) at 7:00 p.m.
