OKC Dodgers to Air 15 Games Through YurView on Cox

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Dodgers and Cox Communications will air 15 Oklahoma City Dodgers games throughout the remainder of the 2018 season on YurView on Cox, the Dodgers announced today.

The television package will include a total of 15 home games and begins Friday when the Dodgers finish their series against the Salt Lake Bees. Saturday's game against the Las Vegas 51s will be televised as well.

Each game will air live on YurView on Cox, which is Channel 1333 for all Cox cable subscribers, and each broadcast will begin five minutes before the first pitch.

"Televising our games creates a great opportunity to entertain a wider audience throughout Oklahoma," said OKC Dodgers President/General Manager Michael Byrnes. "We are excited to begin our partnership with Cox and YurView and believe watching Oklahoma City Dodgers games on weekend nights in the summer will become another extension of ways for families to be connected to our brand."

The "Voice of the OKC Dodgers" Alex Freedman will handle the play-by-play. Freedman is in his seventh season with the team and provides the play-by-play for every OKC Dodgers game on 1340 AM "The Game." He'll be joined by various color analysts throughout the season.

The Dodgers continue their current homestand tonight through Tuesday. June 15 is another Fireworks Friday, with postgame fireworks presented by Oklahoma Blood Institute. Saturday is Marvel Super Hero Night presented by Courtyard by Marriott, featuring appearances by Iron Man and Thor. Additionally, the first 500 kids 12 and under through the gates will receive an OKC Dodgers cape. Sunday is another Chaparral Energy Family Sunday, featuring a chance to run the bases and play catch on the field after the game. Special Father's Day packages are currently available as well.
