The Kelowna Rockets will have their full lineup starting this week after forward Nolan Foote rejoins the team. The Tampa Bay Lightning announced today that they have re-assigned Foote back to the Rockets for the 2019-2020 season.

The Lightning selected Foote during the first round (No. 27) at the 2019 NHL Draft this past June in Vancouver.

The forward made his preseason debut with Tampa Bay on Wednesday, September 18 against the Carolina Hurricanes. Despite being shut out 2-0 by the Hurricanes, he had an even plus-minus rating while putting two shots on net in 13:53 of playing time.

Last night both Foote had a shot on goal and assist in a loss to the Nashville Predators.

Foote suited up for 66 games for the Rockets last season, posting 36 goals and 63 points. He lead the Rockets in goals and power-play goals (17) and was tied for second for points.

The Rockets are back in action this Friday, September 27 when they face the Kamloops Blazers on the road. They'll return home Saturday, September 28 to take on the Everett Silvertips. Tickets are on sale at selectyourtickets.com, at the Prospera Place box office or by phone at 250-762-5050.
