PRINCE GEORGE, BC- The Vancouver Giants swept the opening weekend doubleheader against the Prince George Cougars after their 4-1-win Saturday at the CN Centre. The Giants were 5-3 winners Friday.

Vancouver (2-0-0-0) came out of the blocks running, as they scored three goals in the first eight-minutes of the game.
