Monarchs Set to Host Max's Superhero Birthday Party

MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Manchester Monarchs, proud ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, are set to celebrate the birthday of their beloved mascot, Max, Saturday, March 12, when they take on the Reading Royals (7 p.m.) at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
This year, Max's birthday will have a superhero theme, and the first 4,000 fans in the Jungle will receive a free Max Superhero Bobblehead, sponsored by Hot Hits, and the concourse will be teaming with superheroes, including Batman, Spiderman, Captain American and Supergirl.
Not only will there be superheroes on the concourse, but players will be wearing special superhero capes on the ice during warm-ups. Come see Joey Diamond, Gasper Kopitar, Matt Fornataro and your favorite Monarchs zoom around the ice before the game in their very own superhero capes.
Max will be with the Superheroes, Mama Max, The Roar of the Crowd, the Girl Scouts and other mascots from our corporate partners on the platform throughout the game. The Monarchs will be wearing special Girl Scout jerseys on the ice during the game that will be available for auction along with the warm-up superhero capes.
