
Admirals Add Chris Williams to Roster

Norfolk, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announce today defenseman Chris Williams has been signed to a Standard Players Contract (SPC).
Williams, 25, recently concluded his senior season at the University of Alaska-Anchorage. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound defenseman appeared in 128 NCAA games, registering 12 points (1g, 11a) and 113 penalty minutes. During the 2011-12 season with the Powell River Kings (BCHL), the North Coventry, PA native posted the sixth most points with 36 (7g, 29a), was voted Most Inspirational, and served as the team captain, leading his team to the Fred Page Cup Finals. Williams joins the Norfolk Admirals on the road in Kalamazoo, MI.
Norfolk continues their road trip tonight and through the weekend with a 3-in-3 against the Kalamazoo Wings, Toledo Walleye, and Wheeling Nailers Friday through Sunday nights. The Admirals return home on March 18th and March 19th where they will play on green ice for the first time in Admirals history.
