Monarchs Return Rome To Reading

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have returned defenseman Reagan Rome to the ECHL's Reading Royals, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Rome, 23, has not appeared in a regular season game with the Monarchs this season. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound native of Nesbitt, Manitoba, has appeared in three games with the Royals this season, collecting six penalty minutes. Rome registered 21 points (2-19=21) and 140 penalty minutes in 62 games with the Royals during the 2004-05 season. The defenseman appeared in two games with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks last season, recording two penalty minutes.

The Monarchs go head-to-head with the Lowell Lock Monsters at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, November 11 at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Single seats remain in the Gold section and 2,000 seats remain in the Silver section for Friday's game. Former head coach Bruce Boudreau makes his return to Manchester as the Hershey Bears take on the Monarchs at 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, November 12. There are 100 seats in the Gold section and 2,500 seats in the Silver section for Saturday's game.
