Ak-Sar-Ben Knights Return Pardy To Las Vegas

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that defenseman Adam Pardy has been re-assigned to the Las Vegas Wranglers, the Knights' ECHL affiliate.

Pardy played in a one game with the Knights during his most recent recall, earning no points in a 3-2 win at Peoria on November 5th. He began the season with the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, playing in one game before being re-assigned to Las Vegas on October 17. In three games with the Wranglers, he had no points and four penalty minutes. The native of Bonavista, Newfoundland completed his junior career in 2004-05 with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. He set career highs for games played (69), goals (12), assists (27), points (39) and penalty minutes (163). Pardy was the Flames sixth pick, 173rd overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft.

The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights conclude their four-game road trip tonight when they face the Houston Aeros at 7:35 p.m. All the action can be heard on 1420 AM and on the internet at omahaaksarbenknights.com. The game is also available through the B2 Networks' link on the web site.

The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights return home on Sunday, November 13th to host the Toronto Marlies at 5:00 p.m. Fans are invited to bring their skates for a "Skate With The Team" immediately following the game. Children will also be required to wear helmets. In addition, the Knights will be giving away their official 2005-2006 team photo to everyone in attendance.

Tickets for all home games are on sale at the Civic Auditorium box office, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets may be purchased by calling 422-1212 or at Ticketmaster.com. The Knights' next home game will be Sunday, November 13th when they host the Toronto Marlies at 5:00 p.m.
