Monarchs Bobblehead Promotion Moved To December

Manchester, NH - The Manchester Monarchs today announced that the Travis Scott Bobblehead Night promotion, sponsored by PEPSI, has been moved from Friday, November 15 to Friday, December 20.
A recent longshoresmen strike on the west coast was cited as the reason for the delay. According to published reports, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union, representing 10,500 dockworkers from San Diego to Seattle, is currently waging a slowdown campaign on the waterfront. The union is engaging in a series of work slowdowns, work stoppages and targeted action against the shipping lines that employ them in an effort to gain leverage in contract negotiations for a new labor agreement.
Individual tickets purchased for the game on November 15 may be exchanged for tickets to the December 20 game at no charge. Season ticket package holders will also be allowed to exchange their tickets at no charge. For more information, contact the Monarchs at (603) 626-7825.
The Monarchs, 5-1-1 overall and unbeaten in their last six games, return to action tonight against the Worcester IceCats. Tonight's game is scheduled to get underway at 7:05 p.m.
