SPRINGFIELD, MA ... The American Hockey League announced today that Milwaukee Admirals left wing Darren Haydar has been named the AHL Rookie of the Month for October. In six games, Haydar scored six goals and added four assists while posting a plus-9 rating, as the Admirals finished the month as the only unbeaten team remaining in the AHL at 4-0-2-0.

Haydar made his professional debut on Oct. 12 and recorded three assists in the Admirals' 6-2 win over San Antonio.
