Tyler Sloan Reassigned to Syracuse

Syracuse, NY (November 1, 2002) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned defenseman Tyler Sloan from Dayton (ECHL) to Syracuse.

Sloan, 21, appeared in eight games with Dayton, recording two assists and 13 penalty minutes. In two preseason games with the Crunch he recorded two penalty minutes. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Sloan was signed by Columbus as a free agent on October 2, 2000.

The Crunch travels to Cincinnati for back-to-back match-up's on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. Crunch action can be heard on SportsRadio WHEN 620 with play-by-play announcer Bob McElligott. The Crunch's next home game is Friday, November 8 against the Chicago Wolves.
