Game Notes: The Rochester Americans host the Binghamton Senators tonight at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial... The 7:35 p.m. contest is the second meeting between the two teams... The Senators captured the first game, 4-2, on October 18th... Tonight's game will be broadcast on WHTK 1280-AM and on the web at www.amerks.com.
Amerk Notes: The Amerks (0-5-2-2, four points) enter the contest in fourth place in the Central Division... Rochester is coming off a 4-4 tie against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Wednesday... Norm Milley leads the team with six points (2+4)... The Amerks recorded their first multiple power-play goal night of the season... Rochester was two for nine on the power play against the Pens... It was also the first time the Amerks scored more than two goals in a game... Rookie Sean McMorrow continues to lead the AHL in penalty minutes with 67... Ryan Miller is eighth in the AHL with a 2.51 goals-against average.
Senators Notes: Binghamton (4-2-0-0, eight points) enter the game in second place in the East Division, one point behind the Albany River Rats... The Senators have four players with six points: Brad Smyth (4+2), Jason Spezza (3+3), Antoine Vermette (2+4) and Josef Boumedienne (0+6)... Spezza remains with the NHL's Ottawa Senators... Former Amerk Joe Murphy makes his second trip to The Blue Cross Arena as a member of the Senators... The Senators are coming off a 6-4 loss to the Providence Bruins on Wednesday night.
