
Roest Back in Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday announced that center Stacy Roest has been assigned by the Detroit Red Wings to the American Hockey League club.
In six games with the Griffins prior to his recall on Oct. 28, the 28-year-old Roest tallied a power play goal and two assists with two penalty minutes.
Roest, who has yet to appear in a Red Wings game this season, is expected to be in the Griffins' lineup tonight when they host the defending Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves at 7:30 p.m.
