Martin Reassigned to Solar Bears, Faille Recalled to Marlies

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have announced that defenseman James Martin has been reassigned to the Solar Bears from the Marlies, while forward Eric Faille has been recalled to the Marlies.

Martin, 24, has dressed in one game with the Solar Bears this season, and has suited up in 14 contests with the Marlies, logging three assists and 13 penalty minutes. This is his second reassignment of the season to Orlando.

Faille, 26, has posted 54 points (21g-33a) and 10 penalty minutes in 50 games with Orlando. This is his fifth recall of the season to Toronto, where he has accumulated two points (1g-1a) in four AHL matches.

The Solar Bears continue their fourth season in the ECHL, presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A., when they take on the Manchester Monarchs on Friday, Mar. 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Verizon Wireless Arena. Fans can listen to the game at iHeartSolarBears.com or watch via ECHL.TV.
