Marlies Come up Short against Griffins

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies were in Grand Rapids Friday night for a match-up against the Griffins, AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings. The Marlies would fall 7-1 behind a five point night for the Griffins Andy Miele and 28 save effort from Jarred Coreau who now moves to 5-0 on the season for the Griffins. The lone Toronto goal was scored by Connor Brown, who extended his point streak to five games.
Toronto heads back to Ricoh Coliseum for a game against Texas on Saturday and Milwaukee on Sunday. Both games are at 3:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at marlies.ca/tickets or by calling 416-597-PUCK (7825).
