
Andreoff, LoVerde Score Twice in 4-1 Win over Sharks

MANCHESTER, NH - Multi-point nights from Andy Andreoff, Vincent LoVerde, Nick Shore and Brian O'Neill led Manchester to a 4-1 win over the Sharks on Friday night at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
"I just think tonight we were fortunate enough to capitalize on some quality chances and we found the back of the net," Head Coach Mike Stothers said.
The Monarchs (19-6-1-1) have won six of their last seven games and improved to 4-0-0-0 against Worcester (11-13-2-0) this season.
Brian O'Neill had four assists tonight, giving him nine helpers in his last two games and 10 assists in his last three.
LoVerde started the scoring with a power play goal at 5:44 in the first period off a rebound shot of Nick Shore's that hit the post. O'Neill also assisted on the goal.
The Monarchs struck again with another power play goal from Andreoff at 13:05 in the first. Shore passed the puck behind the net to O'Neill. O'Neill fed the puck to Andreoff out front for a one-timer.
LoVerde made it 3-0 with his second of the night with a one-timer. O'Neill passed to Andreoff and Andreoff centered a pass to LoVerde at 18:25 in the first.
Worcester answered back at 16:40 in the second period when Jeremy Langlois beat Loverde down the middle with a pass from Greger Hanson and Jimmy Bonneau past Patrik Bartosak.
Andreoff answered back to keep the three goal lead with a one-timer goal off a pass from O'Neill and Shore at 19:27 in the second.
The Monarchs return to action on Saturday December 20 at 7 p.m. against the Providence Bruins on Ugly Sweater Night at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
