WILKES-BARRE, PA -- The Albany Devils used three power-play goals to defeat the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, 4-2, Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena. Reid Boucher, Mike Sislo and Brandon Burlon each scored with the man advantage and Paul Thompson added an empty-net goal.

Scott Clemmensen made 19 saves and registered his second win of the season. His night included six saves in the first, eight in the second and five in the third.

Albany won for the second straight game and improved to 13-9-1-4. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton was dealt their first regulation loss in five games and moved to 16-10-1-2.

Boucher opened the scoring at 8:16 of the first period. Adam Larsson, who is with Albany on a conditioning stint, worked the puck along the blueline to Burlon. The puck was moved cross ice to Boucher at the right face-off circle for a slapper that went bar down.

In the second, Sislo added to the lead at 12:39. After Reece Scarlett and Graham Black each had touches, Sislo circled from the right half wall and whipped a wrister blocker side past Penguins netminder Matt Murray.

After Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's Conor Sheary scored on the power play 36 seconds into the third, Burlon netted the game winner. Stefan Matteau found Larson at the top of the zone. Larsson dropped the puck to Burlon and his shot from the left point found its way through a mass of bodies at 13:35.

Derrick Pouliot pulled the Penguins back within one at 16:10, but Thompson sealed the win with a shot from the red line into the open net at 19:54.
