Many Moves for the Walleye

(Toledo, OH) - Forwards Pat Mullane and Maxim Shalunov have been reassigned to Toledo by the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL. Forwards Trevor Parkes and Louis-Marc Aubry have been reassigned to the Walleye from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL. Toledo has also released forward Tyler Pilmore, who appeared in last night's 4-3 loss in Fort Wayne.

Parkes is the leading scorer for the Walleye this season with 13 goals and 11 assists in 21 contests. Over the last three years, the native of Fort Erie, Ontario has skated in 43 ECHL games with 31 goals and 27 assists, all of those contests coming with Toledo. The 22-year-old has also appeared in 84 games with the Griffins over his career, including four games this year.

Since drafted by Detroit in the third Round of the 2010 NHL Draft, Aubry has appeared in 130 professional games with the Griffins, collecting nine goals, 19 assists and 114 penalty minutes. The 6'4", 213 pound forward was a member of the 2013 Calder Cup Championship team, appearing in 14 playoff games. The native of Arthabaska, PQ, skated in 10 games with the Walleye earlier this year, collecting three goals and two assists.

Mullane dressed in two games last weekend for Toledo at Kalamazoo, scoring a goal with an assist. The native of Wallingford, Connecticut has appeared in 24 games this season with the IceHogs, posting five assists and six penalty minutes. The 23-year-old forward helped lead the Boston College Eagles to two NCAA Championships in 2010 and 2012. In 163 total games at Boston College, 5'11", 190 pound forward collecting 42 goals and 97 assists, including a career high 16 goals last year.

Shalunov, a 2011 fourth round draft choice of the Chicago Blackhawks, also appeared twice for Toledo last weekend collecting his first professional goal on Saturday. He has appeared in 18 games with Rockford this year with four assists. The native of Chelyabinsk, Russia was a member of the Bronze Medal winning team Russia in the World Junior Champions in 2011 and 2012. The 20-year-old forward posted 30 goals and 30 assists in 2011-12 with Medvedi Chelyabinsk.
