The Road Warriors were defeated 3-2 by the South Carolina Stingrays last night. The Road Warriors were held scoreless through two periods of play. The team rallied in the third when Jordie Johnston and Justin Vaive scored to put the Road Warriors down by one. Despite pulling the goalie, the Road Warriors were unable to tie the game and lost 3-2. The loss snapped the Road Warriors four-game winning streak.
The Road Warriors and the Jackals faced each other in November in Elmira. The Jackals defeated the Road Warriors 3-0.
Elmira is coming off a three-game winless streak after being defeated by Cincinnati and Reading. The only point in the three-game stretch was an overtime loss versus the Cyclones. The Jackals most recent game was a 6-2 loss versus the Reading Royals on December 26th.
