Matchup:

The Solar Bears play the second game of a six-game home stand tonight as they face the Florida Everblades for the eighth time this season. This contest marks the first meeting since the two clubs split a home-and-home series at the start of November. Orlando is looking to rebound from a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Greenville Road Warriors at the Amway Center last Sunday. The Solar Bears jumped out to a 2-0 lead midway through the second period, but Greenville cut the lead in half heading into the third. A quick goal in the final frame tied the contest before F Andrew Rowe deposited a rebound into the net with less than five minutes to go in the game to lift the Road Warriors to the win. Florida fell in a pair of games to Greenville last weekend as well. On Friday night, Greenville dispatched the Everblades by a 4-1 score, then jumped out to a 5-2 lead by the end of the second on Saturday. Florida made it close with back-to-back goals to start the third, but Greenville answered with three of their own en route to the 8-4 decision. The Solar Bears are 3-4-0-0 against Florida this season.
