Mallet Returns As Cannata Heads To Wolves

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL, three-time defending North Division Champions and National Hockey League affiliate to the Vancouver Canucks, and American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves announce that forward Alexandre Mallet has been reassigned from the Canucks to the K-Wings, while goaltender Joe Cananta has been reassigned to the Wolves.

In his most recent call up the Wolves, Mallet posted one assist in four games. Mallet's return will bolster the K-Wings lineup, as the forward has registered 22 points (9 goals, 13 assists) in 31 games this season.

This will be Cannata's second call up to the Wolves this season. By heading to Chicago, Cannata becomes the 16th member of the K-Wings this season to be either reassigned or loaned to an AHL club.

In Cannata absence, the K-Wings have signed goaltender Ryan Daniels. Daniels is a former fifth-round draft pick (151st overall) of the Ottawa Senators in the 2006 National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft. A native of Pickering, Ontario, Daniels joins the K-Wings after starting his pro career with the Central Hockey League's Missouri Mavericks, where the netminder played in a one game.

Daniels recently finished his collegiate career at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he had a 2.89 goals-against average (GAA) and 0.921 save percentage in 81 games.

Prior to playing collegiately, Daniels played just over four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Saginaw Spirit and the Peterborough Petes. In 166 games played, he finished with an 85-58-14 record, 3.37 GAA and 0.902 save percentage.

Single-game tickets for the 2012-2013 season are on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday's. To charge tickets by phone, please call Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are $13 and $17.50 for adults and only $7 for kids ages 14 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and New Year's Eve game) are just $1 more.

Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single-game tickets in advance because tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $2 (adults only).
