
Condors Acquire Mangan, Bidlevskii from Stingrays for Peter Boyd

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors Trade Deadline movement continued today with the acquisition of C Phil Mangan and D Art Bidlevskii along with future considerations from the South Carolina Stingrays in exchange for F Peter Boyd.
Mangan, 26, is in his first professional North American campaign after playing a season in Norway last year. The Gananoque, Ontario native began this season with the Stockton Thunder before being dealt to the Stingrays. His combined totals have him putting up 12 goals and 22 points in 55 games.
Bidlevskii, 21, is also in his rookie campaign. The 6-0, 180-pound defenseman has a little snarl to his game, leading the Stingrays with 103 penalty minutes this season, to go with a goal and four points. He made his professional debut in 2010-11 in the American Hockey League, skating in 10 games with the Bridgeport Soun d Tigers and recording 30 PIM, along with a +5. He returned to the junior ranks in Western Hockey League last season.
Boyd had 18 goals and 29 points in 50 games with Bakersfield.
