Trupp, 25, is in his second pro season after a stellar collegiate career at the University of North Dakota. This season he has 27 points (5g, 22a) in 60 games for the Condors. Last year as a rookie, he combined for 34 points (12g, 22a) in 45 games. Trupp began the season with the Cincinnati Cyclones, before being dealt to Bakersfield. He closed the year on a great pace with 22 points in 25 games. Prior to the 2010-2011 season the 5'10", 155 lbs. forward attended training camp in the American Hockey League with the Milwaukee Admirals.

Growing up in Anchorage, Trupp was one of the top players in the state of Alaska. He won three High School State Championships - two with Service High (2003, 2004) and one at South (2005). In his junior year of high school, Trupp was named the 2004-2005 Anchorage Daily News/State Hockey Coaches Player of the Year. He went on to similar success at the collegiate level. Trupp was named UND's Rookie of the Year in his freshman season, and went on to conclude his Fighting Sioux career with 108 points (40g, 68a) in 157 collegiate games. He increased his point total each year, finishing with 41 points (17g, 24a) in 44 games as a senior.

Trupp helped lead North Dakota to the WCHA Championship in his last two seasons, and was named the WCHA Tournament MVP as a junior. In his last two years, Trupp was named the recipient of the Cliff "Fido" Purpur Award as the Sioux player who exemplifies hard work, determination and being a creator of excitement on the ice. In 2011 Trupp and North Dakota advanced the NCAA Frozen Four. Trupp becomes the fifth Anchorage-born player on the Aces roster, joining active players Nick Mazzolini and Dustin Molle, as well as defensemen William Wrenn and Brad Gorham, who are in the AHL and on team suspension, respectively. Trupp has played well against the Aces in his career, notching 7 points (4g, 3a) in 9 all-time games. He registered points in his first six games against Alaska.

Skelly joined the Aces in mid-January when he was signed from the SPHL. He registered 14 points (7g, 7a) in 19 games with Alaska. Haltigin was signed by the Aces in the second week of the season. He played in 46 games, totaling 11 points (3g, 8a).

The Aces and Bulls continue their three-game series on Friday and Saturday. The Aces return for one final home series on Wednesday, March 13 when they welcome the Idaho Steelheads.
