March 7, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Ontario Reign News Release

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign (41-14-3-3), defending Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, had the ultimate burst of momentum scoring four goals with 3:18 left in the game to shut the Las Vegas Wranglers (30-25-2-3) out 4-0 before a crowd of 8,858 on Friday night at Citizens Business Bank Arena.

After two slow periods and another slow looking third, Kyle Kraemer broke the stalemate at 16:42 of the third period as he deflected a shot in past Joe Fallon from the left post extending his point streak to nine games. The original shot on goal came from Adrian Van de Mosselaer who made his debut since after being absent from the game since October 19. Derek Couture earned the secondary assist.

Less than a minute later Brady Calla scored the insurance marker from the right face-off dot as his shot went five hole on Fallon. Mario Lamoureux's pass found the winger through traffic.

At 18:53 D.J. King lit the lamp after multiple attempts through traffic and a scrum in the Wranglers crease. Once the puck broke free and was moved back toward the blue line, Calla and Kevin Estrada kept it in and found King at the front of the net where he shoveled a backhand in for a 3-0 lead.

With just 12 seconds remaining in regulation Lamoureux tacked another goal with a quick wrister past Fallon's glove. The shot came from the center of the right circle for the rookie's second point of the game. Brodie Sheahan earned his eigth point against the Wranglers with the lone assist.

Chris Carrozzi earned the Reign's fifth shutout of the season, his fourth, stopping all 17 Wranglers shots; Fallon took the loss allowing four goals on 27 shots.
