Last Meeting

February 22, 2013 - Kelly Zajac's second goal of the night for the Titans late in the third helped force the second shootout between these teams this year (both in Trenton), Elmira got the better end of the score this time around, winning 5-4 (2-0 SO).

Next Meeting

With four meetings left this season, the final game in Trenton will go off at 3:05 pm on Sunday March 17 and complete a five-game homestand for Trenton.

Record (Home/Away); Streaks

Elmira: 16-12-1-2 Road (7-2-0-1 in last 10 road games). The Jackals are 6-1-1-2 in their last 10 overall, including 2-1 in Shootouts. Trenton: 13-12-2-2 Home (3-4-1-2 in last 10 at home). The Titans are 4-5-0-1 overall in their last 10.

Elmira: 7-3-0-1; Trenton 4-5-1-1

"Extra" Effort

So far this season the Titans have played into "extra time" (OT/SO) 16 times - an average of once every four games. Of this number, nine of the games with bonus hockey have been played at home. Trenton's record in those is 4 OTW, 2 OTL, 1 SOW and 2 SOL. One shootout win, loss and overtime loss have come against Elmira.

Meanwhile Elmira - which was a league record 11-2 in shootouts last year - is just 2-4 now. The Jackals have played extra hockey just six times on the road, with three shootouts coming in the last six road games (2-1 in those contests).

For the season, Elmira on the road has gone 2-2 in shootouts, while splitting its two overtime decisions.
