Lightning Reassign Mike Angelidis to Syracuse

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay have reassigned forward Mike Angelidis to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League today, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced.
Angelidis, 29, has appeared in three games with the Lightning this season, recording 12 penalty minutes. He recorded a pair of fighting majors against Montreal on Monday night. The 6-foot-1, 212-pound forward has skated in 10 career NHL games, all with the Lightning, over three seasons, posting a goal and 17 penalty minutes.
The Woodbridge, Ontario native has played in 57 games with Syracuse this season, notching 17 goals and 33 points with a plus-4 rating and five power play goals. He ranks tied for second on the team for goals and is fifth for points. He has skated in 572 career AHL games with Syracuse, the Norfolk Admirals and the Albany River Rats. Angelidis has accumulated 116 goals, 240 points and 1,217 penalty minutes. He has also played in 58 career Calder Cup Playoff games, registering five goals and 20 points. Angelidis won the Calder Cup with Norfolk in 2013.
Angelidis signed with Tampa Bay as a free agent on August 3, 2010.
