
Jacob Doty Reassigned to Wolves

The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that right wing JACOB DOTY has been reassigned to the team from the Alaska Aces (ECHL).
The 21-year-old was reassigned by St. Louis (NHL) from Alaska and will meet the team in Oklahoma City for back-to-back tilts with the Barons on Saturday and Sunday. He has posted 11 points (3G, 8A) and a -4 plus/minus rating in 49 games this season for the Aces, tied for the second-most penalty minutes on the team with 94.
The Billings, Montana, native is in his first professional season after four-plus campaigns in the WHL with Seattle (2009-12) and Medicine Hat (2012-14). He compiled 65 points (27G, 38A) and 467 penalty minutes in 270 games with the Thunderbirds and Tigers, ranking in the top two skaters on his team in penalty minutes all four years. The forward added four points (G, 3A) and 37 penalty minutes in 25 postseason tilts, including Medicine Hat's run to the to the conference final in 2014.
Undrafted, DOTY was signed by St. Louis as a free agent on Sept. 26, 2013.
The Wolves hit the road for games at 7 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday at West Division-leading Oklahoma City.
