Syracuse Crunch News Release

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch are reviving a fan favorite event that's been more than a decade in the making: Crunch at Your Service Dinner, presented by Wegmans. Crunch players will be trading in their skates and sticks for a night of serving and entertaining fans Wednesday, April 8, in the Oncenter Ballroom.

Throughout the night, players will be competing for tips by doing everything from dancing to karaoke. Wayne Mahar (CNY Central) and Brent Axe (Syracuse Media Group/Galaxy Communications) will be emceeing the event. There will also be raffles and a silent auction. All proceeds from the night will benefit the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement.

Registration for the Crunch at Your Service Benefit Dinner, presented by Wegmans will begin at 6 p.m., where guests will have the opportunity to take photos with their favorite Crunch players and bid on silent auction items. A buffet style dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the players "working" for tips by performing crazy antics.

Tables for the event sit ten people and cost $350, which includes a ticket for each person to the Crunch's April 10 game against Bridgeport. Individual tickets are just $40 and also include an April 10 Crunch ticket.

Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association's national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women because it's not just a man's disease. Go Red For Women advocates for more research and swifter action for women's heart health. For more information, please visit GoRedForWomen.org or call (315) 728-7548.
