Leblanc Selected as An All-Star

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye have announced today that forward Peter Leblanc was selected by the ECHL to represent the Toledo Walleye January 26th in the 2011 ECHL All-Star Game in Bakersfield, California.

Leblanc drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 7th of the 2006 NHL entry draft, collected 22 points (8 goals, and 12 assists) in just 22 games this season with the Walleye. The native of Hamilton, Ontario is currently on recall to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. In ten contests with the IceHogs, Peter has 5 goals and 3 assists.

The Toledo Walleye will be back at home Saturday, January 1st at 7:00 PM vs. the Cincinnati Cyclones at the Huntington Center. Tickets are on sale for that contest and all remaining home games. Fans can call (419) 725-WALL or visit www.toledowalleye.com for more information.

The Toledo Walleye play all of their home games at the Huntington Center in downtown Toledo. The Walleye are the proud ECHL affiliate of the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings.
