The ECHL announced Thursday that Elmira Jackals rookie forward Eric Lampe has been named to the 2011 ECHL All-Star Team. The ECHL All-Stars will compete against the Bakersfield Condors on Jan. 26 at the 2011 ECHL All-Star Classic presented by CCM in Bakersfield, Calif.

Lampe, a native of Madison, Wis., has seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 17 games with the Jackals this season. In the 2010 Kelly Cup Playoffs, Lampe scored three goals in the first two games of the Everblades' first-round series against the Jackals.

At Quinnipiac, Lampe totaled 37 goals and 55 assists for 92 points in four seasons, checking in second on the team in scoring in his senior year with 37 points and leading the Bobcats with 24 assists. Lampe led Quinnipiac in penalty minutes during his sophomore and senior seasons, accumulating 271 penalty minutes in his career.
