Idaho Steelheads News Release
(Boise, ID) - Rookie forward Kael Mouillierat will join teammate Mark Derlago at the 2011 ECHL All Star Classic presented by CCM after being named to the ECHL roster on Thursday.
The game will be played on Wednesday, January 26, at Bakersfield's Rabobank Arena and will feature a team of ECHL all-stars taking on the Bakersfield Condors.
With Derlago and Mouillierat both headed for Bakersfield, Idaho is one of just three teams to have multiple players selected to represent the ECHL against the host Condors. Greenville and Wheeling, both in the Eastern Conference, are the other two. The ECHL's remaining 16 teams each have one representative.
Mouillierat is tops among ECHL rookies with 14 goals and tied for the league lead in rookie scoring with 30 points in 29 games for the Steelheads. The 23-year-old Minnesota State product notched the team's only hat trick so far this season, finding the back of the net three times in a win over Victoria on November 6. His 14 goals and 16 assists are second on the team, each one behind Derlago, who was named a starter for the contest on Wednesday.
The Steelheads will be back at Qwest Arena on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day to face the Bakersfield Condors. A group night with the Steelheads is a great way to celebrate the New Year with family, friends, and co-workers - and you can save money on ticket prices too.
