Larman called up by Amerks

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president & general manager Craig Brush, along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Drew Larman has been called up to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Larman becomes the sixth Everblades player to receive a call-up to the AHL since training camp opened on October 9. The 20-year-old skated in six games with the Everblades this season and did not register a point.

Larman, a native of Canton, Michigan split the 2004-05 season between a pair of OHL clubs, the Sarnia Sting and the London Knights. Larman began the '04-'05 season with the Sting, picking up a pair of goals in 12 games before finishing off the year with the Knights collecting 21 points (11g, 10a) in 58 games. In 2003-04 Larman posted his best offensive numbers by scoring 27 points (9g, 18a) in 68 games with Sarnia.

The Everblades return to action on Saturday, November 12 when they take on the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:35 p.m. from The Arena at Gwinnett Center. Florida returns home to Germain Arena for a pair of games against the Charlotte Checkers on Friday & Saturday, November 18 & 19. Everblades 2005-06 full season, half season, group tickets, and individual game tickets are on sale now!
