Storm's three power play goals sink Trenton

TOLEDO, OH - The Trenton Titans saw their three-game winning streak come to end as the Toledo Storm scored three power play goals en route to a 4-1 win in front of 4,375 at Toledo Sports Arena.

The Titans allowed the first goal of the game for the second consecutive game when Ken Magowan notched a power play goal three minutes into the first period.

Trenton tied the score 1-1 on a special teams goal of its own when, shorthanded, Scott May followed his own rebound and put it past Joey MacDonald at 6:01 of the second period.

The Titans would be forced to kill off six penalties after the shorthanded goal and the Storm would convert on two of those chances.

Magowan got his second of the game during a 5-on-3 at 11:19 of the period and Mike James added his first of the season 5:50 later.

Chris Blight registered an even-strength goal at 11:24 of the third period to complete scoring.

Martin Houle fell to 3-2-0 on the season as the stopped 34 of 38 Toledo shots. MacDonald recorded his first win of the year with 25 saves.

The Titans were 0-for-5 on the power play and 7-for-10 on the penalty kill.
