Knights Lose Friday's Game to Bulls 7-1

(DURHAM, NC) - The Charlotte Knights dropped game four of the six-game series against the Durham Bulls by a score of 7-1 on Friday night from Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, NC. The game lasted just two hours and three minutes, tied for the shortest game of the season for the Knights this year.

Catcher Carlos Pérez scored Charlotte's lone run of the game in the top of the fifth inning on a wild pitch.

Designated hitter Seby Zavala led the way offensively for the Knights with a two-hit game. In all, the Knights managed four hits on the evening.

LHP John Parke (1-4, 7.20) started for the Knights and was charged with the loss. He gave up six runs on nine hits over six innings of work.

For the Bulls, the team used four long balls to win for the fourth time in as many days against the Knights. Luke Raley went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs for Durham.

The two teams will continue the series on Saturday from Durham Bulls Athletic Park. First pitch of game five of the series is set for 6:35 p.m. from the home of the Bulls.
