
Jordan Mickey Named NBA D-League All-Star

PORTLAND, Maine - January 29, 2016 - The NBA Development League today announced that Jordan Mickey of the Maine Red Claws has been named to the 2016 NBA D-League All-Star Team. Mickey, who has played for Maine this season on assignment from the Boston Celtics, is the 13th player in Red Claws history to receive All-Star recognition.
A second-round NBA Draft pick, Mickey has played in 21 of Maine's 25 games. In those games (all starts), Mickey is averaging 17.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and a league-leading 4.6 blocks per contest.
In December, Mickey became the first player in Red Claws franchise history to receive the NBA D-League Player of the Month award, and has twice been nominated for NBA D-League Performer of the Week. On Dec. 31, Mickey recorded the ninth triple-double in Red Claws history, with 13 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocks. Mickey is currently recalled by the Boston Celtics.
The 2016 NBA D-League All-Star game presented by Kumho Tire is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2:00 p.m. ET in Toronto as part of NBA All-Star Weekend.
